Miller Funeral Home has been a cherished part of the West Georgia community since 1917, lovingly passed down through generations of the Miller family. For over a century, they’ve been more than just a funeral home, serving as a source of comfort and guidance for countless families. Deeply rooted in their values of kindness and respect, Miller Funeral Home is dedicated to honoring the diverse beliefs and traditions of the people they serve.
Always striving to better serve their community, Miller Funeral Home became Georgia’s first and only aquamation facility. This reflects their commitment to offering gentle, eco-friendly options for their customers. It was a journey that required determination, with the Millers even bringing their cause to the Georgia Capitol to change state laws. Their dedication ensures that every family they serve receives compassionate care and unwavering support during life’s most difficult moments.

Miller Funeral Home: Aquamation
Brand Design
-
Establish MFH as pioneers in the industry, constantly looking for better options for their community.
Increase awareness of aquamation and normalize the idea in a predominantly conservative/traditional region.
Create a brand foundation for informational documents and marketing materials that stand out from competitors.
-
MFH has been in business for over 100 years and is a staple in the West Georgia community. We wanted this brand to feel modern and clean, but we needed it to blend seamlessly with existing branding that customers recognize.
-
Before working on creative assets we established the brand values: community, commitment, care, compassion, peace, and education.
Watercolor elements add a layer of calm and tranquility, while also alluding to the process of aquamation.

The purpose goes beyond providing funeral services; it’s about offering a more compassionate and environmentally conscious choice for our community– to honor the lives of those who have passed while caring for the earth they loved. As the only aquamation facility in Georgia, we’re committed to educating and guiding families toward this more gentle, natural option. Our mission is to fill the need for respectful, sustainable practices that align with the values of younger generations, providing peace of mind during life’s most challenging moments.
